The Prusa MK4 is open to the room, and Polycarbonate warps and cracks in open air. Small parts can survive; for anything bigger, add an enclosure (even a grow tent or a box over the printer helps).
Keep the spool dryMaterial
Polycarbonate soaks up moisture from the air, and damp filament prints rough and stringy. If that happens, dry the spool at 80-90 °C for 6-8 h and store it sealed with desiccant.
Buying the CF version of Polycarbonate?
Carbon-fiber filament sands down the Prusa MK4’s stock nozzle. Plain Polycarbonate is fine; for the CF variant, fit a hardened steel nozzle first (a cheap swap).
