The Bambu Lab A1 is open to the room, and Polycarbonate warps and cracks in open air. Small parts can survive; for anything bigger, add an enclosure (even a grow tent or a box over the printer helps).
Use the lower end of the bed rangePrinter
Some Polycarbonate spools ask for up to 120 °C on the bed; the Bambu Lab A1 reaches 100 °C. Set the bed near 100 °C and add a glue stick if corners lift.
Keep the spool dryMaterial
Polycarbonate soaks up moisture from the air, and damp filament prints rough and stringy. If that happens, dry the spool at 80-90 °C for 6-8 h and store it sealed with desiccant.
Buying the CF version of Polycarbonate?
Carbon-fiber filament sands down the Bambu Lab A1’s stock nozzle. Plain Polycarbonate is fine; for the CF variant, fit a hardened steel nozzle first (a cheap swap).
