The challenge is speed, not heat. Flexible filament buckles when pushed, so slow way down and keep retraction gentle. A direct-drive printer (motor right on the print head) makes this much easier. If a long tube feeds your hotend instead (a Bowden setup), crawl at 15-20 mm/s.
