PA6 (Nylon 6) works on the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, mind a couple of things

  • Use the lower end of the bed rangePrinter

    Some PA6 (Nylon 6) spools ask for up to 110 °C on the bed; the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro reaches 100 °C. Set the bed near 90 °C and add a glue stick if corners lift.

  • Enclosed chamber, exactly what this material wantsPrinter

    The Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro is a closed box, so PA6 (Nylon 6) cools slowly and evenly instead of warping.

  • Keep the spool dryMaterial

    PA6 (Nylon 6) soaks up moisture from the air, and damp filament prints rough and stringy. If that happens, dry the spool at 70-90 °C for 12-16 h and store it sealed with desiccant.

  • Buying the CF version of PA6 (Nylon 6)?

    Carbon-fiber filament sands down the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro’s stock nozzle. Plain PA6 (Nylon 6) is fine; for the CF variant, fit a hardened steel nozzle first (a cheap swap).
