The AMS (the multi-spool changer) cannot feed TPU. Load TPU straight from an external spool holder, 85A hardness or firmer.

The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon’s motor sits right on the print head, which is what soft filament needs. Keep speed down around 20-40 mm/s and turn retraction low.
Keep the spool dryMaterial
TPU soaks up moisture from the air, and damp filament prints rough and stringy. If that happens, dry the spool at 50-60 °C for 6-12 h and store it sealed with desiccant.
