  • No enclosure on this printerPrinter

    The Bambu Lab A1 is open to the room, and PA6 (Nylon 6) warps and cracks in open air. Small parts can survive; for anything bigger, add an enclosure (even a grow tent or a box over the printer helps).

  • Use the lower end of the bed rangePrinter

    Some PA6 (Nylon 6) spools ask for up to 110 °C on the bed; the Bambu Lab A1 reaches 100 °C. Set the bed near 90 °C and add a glue stick if corners lift.

  • Keep the spool dryMaterial

    PA6 (Nylon 6) soaks up moisture from the air, and damp filament prints rough and stringy. If that happens, dry the spool at 70-90 °C for 12-16 h and store it sealed with desiccant.

  • Buying the CF version of PA6 (Nylon 6)?

    Carbon-fiber filament sands down the Bambu Lab A1’s stock nozzle. Plain PA6 (Nylon 6) is fine; for the CF variant, fit a hardened steel nozzle first (a cheap swap).
