What is PCTG?

PETG's tougher cousin. Same easygoing printing manners, with better impact toughness, better chemical resistance, and clearer clear parts. It's a small family here (a couple dozen spools), but a useful one.

What temperature does PCTG print at?

Hotter than PETG: 240-265 °C at the nozzle and 75-95 °C on the bed. Your printer needs comfortable headroom past 240 °C before this family makes sense.

PCTG or PETG?

Start with PETG. It's cheaper and sold everywhere. Reach for PCTG when a PETG part cracks on impact, when you want near-clear prints, or when the part touches solvents. Same skills, tougher result.
