Before you print
2 things to know about this spoolFit a hardened-steel nozzle
What is mixed into this filament — fiber or glow pigment — grinds down a soft brass nozzle fast. A hardened-steel one stands up to it.
Needs a high-temperature hotend
It runs hotter than everyday filaments. Check your printer can reach its nozzle temperature before you buy.
New here? Nozzle = printing temperature in your slicer, bed = build plate. Start at the big number.
- Nozzle is the hot-end temperature: enter it as the printing temperature in your slicer. Start at the big number; the range is the safe window to tune within.
- Bed is the heated build plate: your slicer calls it bed temperature. It helps prints stick.

Editorial notesUpdated 2026-05-10
Requires a hardened nozzle — standard brass nozzles will wear out rapidly.
The carbon fiber adds stiffness and reduces weight compared to plain PLA; it does not dramatically increase strength. Expect a matte, slightly rough surface finish. Requires a hardened steel or ruby nozzle — the CF particles will wear a brass nozzle down quickly.
